C Type Thermostatic Expansion Valves
Ten models cover the whole C type range. You do not pick them by car — you pick them by the pipe connection on the vehicle, then by capacity.
Read this before you choose
C type valves were originally laid out by car maker. Over the years, replacement evaporator manufacturers mixed the models up, so the car-maker grouping below is typical, not guaranteed.
The reliable way to choose is the pipe connection on the car’s air-conditioning side: 3/8" Flare, 3/8" O-ring, 5/16" O-ring, M16/M20 O-ring or M16/M22 O-ring. Confirm which one the vehicle uses, then match the capacity.

Capacity is stated in US refrigeration tons (USRT). 1.0 ton = 3.52 kW, 1.5 ton = 5.27 kW.

How to identify the right model
- Look at the pipesCheck the connection where the valve meets the vehicle piping — flare nut or O-ring seal.
- Measure the threadInlet is the high-pressure side, outlet the low-pressure side. The two threads together identify the group.
- Pick the capacity1.0 ton (3.52 kW) or 1.5 ton (5.27 kW). If you are replacing a valve, match the old one.
- Confirm with usSend the OEM number stamped on the old valve or a clear photo. We confirm before you order.

Pressure columns are the factory air setting values at 0°C and 10°C evaporator temperature. All models are for HFC-134a, brass body, internal equalizing, G charge (heat resistance 120°C).
